Winnie’s brought me on board to take what they already know- jazz, cocktails, food, service- and turn it into a visual story. I photograph and film all content for their marketing campaigns and social media, and I create illustrated pieces for special campaigns, like their ‘Supper Club,’ capturing the atmosphere and energy of the venue in every frame and brushstroke.

Winnie’s Jazz Bar

New York City

The Supper Club Campaign promoted larger jazz bands and created an offering for pre booked tables with a prix fixe menu. The campaign- mixed with photos, short video reels and an illustrated vintage inspired supper club themed poster, which was printed and framed in the venue- created a great buzz in both the jazz and the evening crowd- enough to see an immediate jump of an average of 40% in weekend food and beverage sales.

Winnie’s Afternoon Tea was brought into the venue after extensive research of New York City’s historical establishments serving unforgettable experiences. Inspirations included The Palm Court at the Plaza Hotel, The Grand Salon at the Baccarat Hotel, and the Pembroke Room at the Lowell Hotel. Working alongside the culinary and beverage teams- we created a menu that not only honored classic New York in flavor- but also looked beautiful for the camera, the canvas, and the guest.

Winnie’s namesake, Winifred T. McDonald, knew a thing or two about bending the rules during Prohibition. So naturally, Afternoon Tea didn’t stop at scones - we carried the tradition forward with cocktails that spoke to her spirited legacy.

A series of photographs, short video components, graphics, and illustrations were created to help push Winnie’s Afternoon Tea Campaign, resulting in a successfully consistent flow of guests during the Saturday and Sunday brunch hours- a first for the venue since its opening a decade prior.
